Racism, racism, racism

What is going on in our world today? I am not supposed to say this but I am a student at Burbank High School. Recently there have been several racial fights, a couple of racist groups (such as AP, WP, and BP) & a couple of swastikas painted on the gym wall. Even as a black student I believe it has been hardest on white students there. In every race that goes to BHS there is someone that hates all whites, racist or not. Now I am not saying that it is dangerous to go to BHS (since the security there has grown in the past year) or that it is easy to be a race different from white but that it is hard for white students out there and I acknowledge that. I thought that all of this was over and that there was almost no racial slurs still being said behind each of our backs.

Right now I am in my 4th interracial relationship and I am very very happy. I have dated girls of my race and I don't really prefer either just as long as she respects herself and her body and loves me for me she can be green with black, yellow, and purple dots.

 Well that time is here summer vacation is over, that time when you sat back and relaxed...

For 2 months!!!What is that all about?

It Probably seems to you as you get older your vacation time gets shorter and shorter. Well guess what it has! Since about 1986 to 1999 the summers have dropped off more than a month. To some of you this may not seem like a lot over such a long period of time but to those of you who love the freedom that summer supplies it is a big thing. This was pointed out to us by one of our teachers. We didn't even realize it (mostly because most of us don't remember summertime, or any other time at that, when we were 3). Well there's not anything that we can really do about it except wait another 10 months for our 2 month summer vacation as we lay on the grass, staring at the sky, while saliva runs out of our mouth, and we wonder, "Whatever happened to that cloud that looked like a dog juggling tennis balls?"

Our favorite friend

 Well there is not to much we can't say about our old boob tube. We took a poll only among ourselves and found out that we are still trying to keep in touch with our inner, more innocent, younger child which is less needing of series that include the least bit of sex,drugs, or violence (as where girls would call this immature) In being immature we mean that we are still not willing to let go of our cartoons! Cartoons such as Johnny Bravo, Inspector Gadget, Batman (all of his different series), and of course South Park, occupy most of our TV watching time. Where as girls seem much more interested in soaps, shows such as Dawson's Creek, and Music videos starring their favorite male singers. Well maybe it is true about males & females being from 2 different places and all (Men are from Mars...) but in our opinion Women are from Mars Men are from Toys R Us!!!

Relationships

 This is a very strange time to be dating. Couples only seem to last only 5-10 days now. We have had our short romances(some have had more than others) but not every other week. What ever happened to the days of going steady? Have all of us just seem to have forgotten the word love? Maybe but there still are some people out there who have had their long relationships (such as Spiral , who is holding the top 2 records which are; #1=5 years and #2=1 year and our record for shortest is Swave's which is 1 day, reason; he just wanted someone for valentines day) Maybe we should all just take some time to look at our priorities in life, remember sooner or later we all will grow up and if you want a long happy marriage maybe you should straighten up and start practicing. Maybe if we had done this 20-30 years ago the divorce and separation rate wouldn't be so high! Tell us how you feel!

Girls & Guys

First we'll talk to all you girls out there

 This is becoming such a material world it's almost unbelievable. You spend so much time and money on trying to make yourself look good when all you are doing is fooling a guy into liking you! I am not saying that it's your fault because guys do see girls with out makeup and make fun of them and so on but if a guy wont just like you for you then $#@& him. There is always someone out there you just have to look a little harder and if a guy you are interested in seems not to like you only because of your looks let him get to know you and then he should sooner or later come around! If not he's a $#&@king jerk!!!

Hey guys we gotta talk

 We are pushing our women too much! We seem to only think about that one thing now a days, yeah we don't have to say it, you all know what it is. It is always the best ideas to wait but if you feel you must talk to you girlfriend about it, maybe she will understand! Then maybe she'll want to and maybe not but you've got to start talking to them. They should know how you feel and what you want. They may lead you on with their tight shirts and short skirts but still talk to them. There is no reason for you and her to have to sex!!! Not for love, not to make sure you're always together, not even if it means the separation of you two. If you want it then you want it but there is no reason for her to have to if she doesn't completely want to, no matter what!!!
